Making it as a professional is the dream of most young cyclists. Although few make it,  @Galibier we believe it is worth the effort.  Years spent dedicated to training and competition, defines a young personality: Even if the athlete is not successful, their health and character is moulded positively for the future.

As Elite cycling can be an expensive sport, Galibier wish to ease the burden and cost of clothing by assisting 20 young riders with clothing in 2012. We wish to offer a package of support to riders which is well in excess of £500 each, to not only include clothing but  training and technical advice if requested and to promote the profile of the individual.

Conditions:

-Riders must be aged 17-22 and have an honest aim of being a professional cyclist.

-Those in full time education or just cycling are eligible.

-Must not have other personal clothing sponsor (club clothing exemption).

-Rider MUST be nominated by club sectary and registered coach.

-Location is unimportant, Max three rider per country.

-Applicants MUST have regional and some national success.

- Must compete with honesty and pride and be an ambassador for juvenile riders to aspire to.

We are charging a nominal cost of £100 to display commitment and cover administration.
